Put every icon on the same grid: one viewBox, artwork centred, even padding, optional uniform stroke width. Fixes the set where one icon came out of a 48-unit file, one is hugging the edge and one is floating in space. Nothing leaves your browser.

What it does

Measures each icon's artwork, including stroke thickness, then wraps it in a group that scales and centres it inside the new viewBox. The original geometry is untouched, so nothing is re-drawn or approximated.

  • The dashed square in each preview is the safe area: grid minus padding. In "fill" mode the artwork touches it on its longer side.
  • "Keep relative sizes" only converts the unit system and centres. Use it for sets where a dot is meant to be smaller than a globe.
  • Because the wrapper scales the icon, stroke widths scale with it. Tick "Normalise" to rewrite them so the whole set renders at one width.
  • The wrapper group is one extra element. If the dev wants it flattened, run the file through Outline Stroke.
